After completing the online course, candidates must pass a 12-question test (6 questions per chapter) with a score of 70% or higher to earn their Certified HIPAA Privacy Associate (CHPA) credential. The test is time-bound, with a total duration of 20 minutes (10 minutes per chapter). It can be taken from any location, without the need for scheduling, providing flexibility for busy professionals. Once you start the test, you need to finish it in the allotted time. If you exceed the time allotted per chapter, then the test will stop right there.
