The following are the system requirements for the self-paced online courses and instructor-led online courses. If you are able to view videos from https://vimeo.com/watch  then you should be ok on taking our self-paced online courses. For the instructor-led online courses all requirement under software and tools are needed.

1. Hardware Requirements

  • Device: Desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone
  • Processor: At least Dual-core (i3 or higher)
  • RAM: Minimum 4 GB RAM (8 GB or more recommended for smooth performance)
  • Storage: At least 2 GB free space
  • Camera: Required for video interaction (for instructor-led online course)
  • Microphone: Required for video conferencing or voice interaction (for instructor-led online course)
  • Headphones/Speakers: Required for audio of the online course

2. Operating System

  • Windows: 10 or 11
  • Mac: macOS 10.14 (Mojave) or later
  • Mobile: iOS 13+, Android 9+

3. Internet Requirements

  • Connection: Stable broadband connection
  • Speed: Minimum 2 Mbps download / 1 Mbps upload
    • Recommended: 5–10 Mbps+ for streaming HD video or live classes
  • Wi-Fi or Ethernet: Ethernet is more stable; Wi-Fi is acceptable if strong

4. Web Browser (Latest Versions Preferred)

  • Google Chrome (recommended for most platforms)
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Safari (for Mac users)
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Allow cookies, JavaScript, and pop-ups for full functionality

Our online videos are hosting on Vimeo so please ensure that your browser and company policy does not block the site. Many mac users face issue on Safari blocking the site.

5. Software & Tools (for instructor-led online course)

  • PDF Reader: Adobe Acrobat Reader or similar
  • Office Tools: MS Office, Google Docs/Sheets, or compatible tools
  • Video Conferencing: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet (if required)
  • Antivirus: Up-to-date protection software recommended

If a user can’t watch a video of our self-paced online courses, it’s usually due to one of the following common issues:

  • Slow or unstable internet connection
    • May cause buffering or complete failure to load video
  • Fix: Test your speed (e.g., Speedtest.net), switch to Ethernet, or restart your router

🌐 2. Browser Compatibility or Settings

  • Outdated browser: Old versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge may not support video playback properly
  • Extensions blocking scripts: Ad blockers, privacy tools, or script blockers can interfere
  • Cookies or JavaScript disabled: Vimeo needs these enabled
  • Fix:
    • Update browser to latest version
    • Try disabling extensions temporarily
    • Enable JavaScript and allow cookies
    • Try a different browser

🔒 3. Security or Network Restrictions

  • Firewall or antivirus software blocking video content
  • School/work network restrictions: Some networks block video streaming platforms
  • VPN issues: Can cause geo-restriction conflicts or slow video loading
  • Fix:
    • Temporarily disable antivirus/firewall to test
    • Switch networks or use a personal hotspot
    • Try turning off VPN or switching servers

  • Video is private or restricted
    • May require a password, email authentication, or approved domain (e.g., only plays on a specific website)
  • Geo-blocking: Video is not available in your country
  • Fix:
    • Contact the video owner if you think you should have access
    • Make sure you’re accessing it from an authorized domain

📱 5. Mobile Device Issues

  • Browser not compatible or outdated app
  • Low mobile data bandwidth
  • Fix:
    • Use the Vimeo app (iOS/Android)
    • Connect to Wi-Fi
    • Update mobile OS and app

🧪 6. Vimeo Platform Issues

  • Temporary service outage or maintenance
  • Fix: Check Vimeo status page or try again later

Basic Troubleshooting Steps
